Private sessions are the heart of Ceres Movement. Each session is client-centered and responsive—guided by what you bring on that day and what you most need over time.
Kathryn draws from therapeutic yoga, Pilates, certified somatic practice, seasonal wisdom, and breath-centered tools to create practices that are practical, accessible, and sustainable.
At times, that may mean practices of softness and rest—nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, or restorative support. At other times, it may mean building strength and resilience, or cultivating mobility and functional movement to support daily life. Needs shift with each individual and each season of life. Private sessions offer a space to honor that rhythm and create a path that meets you where you are.

These new classes reflect the heart of my work: bringing a somatic-centered lens to Pilates and yoga, and making consistent practice both practical and sustainable. I’m grateful to offer them alongside the dynamic weekly schedules at Astute Counseling & Wellness and Coconut Yoga Chicago.

Trauma-Informed Yoga + the Nervous System Workshop — Saturday, 9/27 @ Coconut Yoga Chicago. This training explores how a trauma-informed lens can create safe, inclusive spaces and support nervous system regulation. Learn how stress and overwhelm impact the nervous system, discover practical ways to foster trauma-informed environments, and embody these principles through a guided Yin + Restorative practice.
Yoga & Sound with Lisa Love + Kathryn Norris — Sun, Oct 5 (7:30 PM) & Tue, Oct 21 (7:00 PM) at Astute Counseling & Wellness. Two evening collaborations—Somatic Yin & Sound Bath and Somatic Rest: Sound Bath & Restorative Yoga—pair immersive sound healing with down-regulating, prop-supported yoga to soothe the nervous system and reset.
Group classes and workshops are a wonderful way to experience Kathryn’s approach in community. For deeper support, private sessions provide a personalized path.

Founded on the shores of Lake Michigan, Ceres Movement is named for the Roman goddess of harvest and nourishment—an emblem of seasonal rhythm, inner wisdom, and whole-person care.
When movement is guided with intelligence and presence, it becomes more than exercise—it becomes care for the body, mind, and spirit. My work is to make that care practical and sustainable through yoga, Pilates, and somatic practices, integrated with mindfulness and seasonal wisdom to support your rhythm and resilience.
