Welcome
Mindful movement. Somatic depth. A return to your body’s wisdom.
Kathryn Norris offers integrative, one-on-one care through therapeutic yoga, Pilates, and somatic practice—helping you move, feel, and live better.
Work 1:1 Personalized Care
Private sessions are the heart of Ceres Movement. Each session is client-centered and responsive—guided by what you bring on that day and what you most need over time.
Kathryn draws from therapeutic yoga, Pilates, certified somatic practice, seasonal wisdom, and breath-centered tools to create practices that are practical, accessible, and sustainable.
At times, that may mean practices of softness and rest—nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, or restorative support. At other times, it may mean building strength and resilience, or cultivating mobility and functional movement to support daily life. Needs shift with each individual and each season of life. Private sessions offer a space to honor that rhythm and create a path that meets you where you are.
You don’t have to push to feel progress.
At Ceres Movement, Kathryn offers integrative care for your body and nervous system—drawing from yoga, Pilates, somatic practice, Chinese Medicine, and breath-centered approaches that support you from the inside out.
Healing begins with listening. Movement becomes presence.
Whether you’re craving softness, strength, or rest, we’ll meet you there.

A sustainable way to begin your day strong, steady, and clear.
Before the emails, the to-do lists, and the morning rush, give yourself forty-five minutes to reconnect with your body and set the tone for your day.
The Early Morning Mat Pilates Series combines classical Pilates principles with modern movement science, somatic awareness, and yoga-therapy insights to help you build strength, stability, and focus from the inside out.
Mat Pilates is efficient, effective, and genuinely enjoyable—helping you move with purpose, build confidence, and feel better in both body and mind. You’ll strengthen, mobilize, and breathe your way into the day with greater steadiness and ease.

Nature-Inspired. Nervous System-Aware. Where Science Meets Subtlety.
Founded on the shores of Lake Michigan, Ceres Movement is named for the Roman goddess of harvest and nourishment—an emblem of seasonal rhythm, inner wisdom, and whole-person care.
When movement is guided with intelligence and presence, it becomes more than exercise—it becomes care for the body, mind, and spirit. My work is to make that care practical and sustainable through yoga, Pilates, and somatic practices, integrated with mindfulness and seasonal wisdom to support your rhythm and resilience.
